Titanium Solids Processing
Characterizes the scrap titanium by alloy, surface condition, and shape. Metal Scan Analyzers are used to 100% test every piece when required and verify the alloy.
Produces desired product through crushing, screening, torching, or shearing.
Removes all surface contaminants by shot blasting, grinding when required, and pickling titanium scrap upon request.
Prior to packaging material, all small solids are visually inspected as they pass over an inspection belt. This final inspection covers all aspects of product quality to ensure that shipments meet customer specific requirements, including cleanliness, sizing, and the absence of any contamination. At the inspection belt, a sample of final product is re-tested using Metal Scan Analyzers to confirm the metal alloy.

Goldman Titanium uses a proprietary technique to collect randomized samples of turnings, melt them into buttons, and conduct chemical analyses. Statistical techniques are used to help determine whether products comply with all customer specifications.
