Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to help ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment in a facility specializing in scrap titanium processing. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality procedures at all times.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
Also includes
- Maintaining production machines and all facility equipment
- Performing unscheduled repairs on production equipment and all facility equipment
- Performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities and making repair recommendations
- Detecting faulty, improper, and unsafe operating conditions
- Using hand and power tools, and material handling equipment
- Collaborating with maintenance and production personnel
- Complying with safety regulations and supporting product quality programs
- Maintaining an organized work area
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance or related experience preferred
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing skills required
- Welding and fabricating experience preferred; electrical systems experience preferred
- Communication proficiency (written and verbal) required
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and iPadOS preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and machinery, and work from lifts, ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, tools and supplies; manipulate heavier loads with team or appropriate equipment
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and safety regulations
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required
- Ability to drive and operate a forklift
